My kids love to draw, especially Tay. I am always wondering what to do with all the drawings, and paintings I have in my house. Now, that I am blogging about our adventures, I have decided to do a weekly post showing off all the kids works of art. Each week I am planning on putting 1-2 drawings on display. The kids are pretty excited about this. They will be able to see their work on screen and always have that memory with them. I would love for all of you to link up and participate in the showcase. Any type of art project can be put on display. We will have our own little gallery! Some of our pictures are free drawing, and some are from the Drawing Textbook and Draw Write Now. Let's begin the showcase!
Tay: These are some drawings Tay has been working on during lesson time. These are from The Drawing Textbook. She is really coming along and improving each week. Enjoy!
Ash: Ash really enjoys coloring as well as drawing. The first drawing you see is an activity we did out of Draw Write Now. This is a Chick on a grassy area. The second drawing you see is a project we did with Aesop's Fables. This is the story of the Wolf and the Kid. I read the story to Ash and she retells it to me the best she can. After I finish writing it out for her, she illustrates her story. That is what you see here.
Buddy: Here is Buddy's painting. He loves to finger paint, not only the paper but himself as well. He sure has fun. Here he added glitter paint. Isn't he so creative!
Well, here is our first Art Showcase. If you would like to participate please link up below. All I ask is for a link back here. Thank you and I can't wait to fill up our gallery!

This is a great idea, if you do it next week I will have some solar art projects that the kids are finishing up. We have been working on them all week and have a little more to do:) We use the Draw Write Now series too, I talked my local library into getting them so I wouldn't have too:)

ReplyDeleteHi there, thanks for stopping over to the blog...you asked about the workbook I made up. Yes I have a small binder so I can bind them myself. It was not a lot of money and came with 100 different size bindings. I just printed worksheets and actvitives off from seussville.com and made one up myself!
