Art Showcase

This week I am very excited to share Tay's work for this week.  When we were in Disneyland, there was art show on every night that we watched.  The artist on the show was using acrylic paints to make marine life.  Tay was so interested in learning how to make sea turtles that she couldn't wait to get home to try it out.  Yesterday, she took out her paints and from memory began to paint the painting the artist was making on the show.  Here is her finished product.  She is so very proud.

A painting of sea turtles under the sea looking up towards the sky:

If you would like to share your child's art work please link up below.  I love to see what all the kids make from their imaginations.  Have fun!

Blessings,

Kimberly

  1. Tay, this is a beautiful painting of sea turtles! WOW! You're a quick learner in drawing/painting sea life! You should be proud of such a wonderful masterpiece! Thanks for sharing your talents in blog land. I'm late linking up today due to all the trouble with Blogger these past few days :( I told my almost 11 year old daughter about your birthday party, Tay, and she was excited that you and her are the same age. My daughter will be 11 on May 19. BTW, Kimberly did you get my comment on Tay's birthday post? I don't see it, but I know I left one. Maybe Blogger deleted it? Let me know if you can view my comment from Tay's bday post. Have a blessed weekend!

  2. Hi Tracy! Thank you, Tay was super excited to read your comment. She is very proud of her work this week and reading your comment really put a smile on her face! I can't believe that your daughter will be 11 just a couple weeks after Tay. Again, something else we can add to our list of things in common. I think it is amazing that blog land can bring people together who would otherwise not get the chance to meet. Thank you for linking up this week. The kids work looks great!

I did get your comment on Tay's birthday post, but when the outage happened I think it was deleted. Actually, the whole post was deleted and then reappeared a few hours later. Thank you for the birthday wishes. Have a wonderful weekend!

  3. HI Kimberly
Tay did a fabulous job on the painting. I instantly felt like I was looking at a topical picture:) To me the turtles look like they are looking up at the sky around dusk. Just love it.
Happy belated birthday to Tay as well. Thanks for linking up to the NOBH we appreciate your support.
